December is here! Has this year gone by in a flash for you, too!?? Oh my. And now it is the time for parties, recitals, shopping, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. Reflecting on The Greatest Gift.
Here at Prize31, our authors put their hearts on the page month and month (for 24 months now!). We would like them to have a bit of breather. So, this month, we will be “regifting,” if you will. Each author will take a look into our archives and share with you a post from the past two years that stood out to them. Maybe it made them laugh or maybe it was a word in due season. We hope you’ll find time in your own busy schedules to revisit the chosen posts. Perhaps you’d like to share a post that stuck with you? Along with our posts from the past, we will run original material on Fridays.

New to Prize31!
Starting this month, we will be introducing a new monthly feature post. Prize Imprint will highlight ways in which we, as women, are leaving a Kingdom imprint. No matter whether the mark is big or small, we’d like to share the impact Prize Women’s ministry (YOU!) has in our church body, in our community, and beyond. Look for Prize Imprint coming this month!
This month, we also introduce to you a new author to Prize31! Terisa Clark is officially joining the ranks as one of our regular writers. You can read her previous guest posts here. We look forward to adding her perspective to the voices of women on this blog!

Mark Your Calendar
The Prize Christmas Party is Saturday, 10th! The last day to purchase tickets is this Sunday, December 4th. “Breakfast at Trinity” starts at 9am at the University Campus. We’re looking forward to hearing from Chanda Allen and getting to spend this time with you wonderful ladies!

Trinity’s annual community holiday outreach, Christmas Blessing Day, will be held on December 17th from 8am – 2pm. Last year, over 200 families from the Lubbock area received boxes of food, shoeboxes of toys, and heard the Good News! The planning and preparation for this year’s event is underway; over 400 volunteers are needed to make the day a success. Volunteers are also needed on Friday, Decemeber 16th from 1pm-8pm to help set up and decorate for the next day’s activities. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this day, please contact the Outreach Center at 788-0501 for more information.

January 31, 2012 is our next day of prayer and fasting. Won’t you join us? Feel free to fast from whatever you feel led – food, T.V., social media, etc. In the evening, we will gather for a time of prayer in Stage 2 at the University Campus. Spend time alone in prayer, or come and receive prayer.

The annual Prize women’s conference is coming up in March of 2012! Mark your calendars for the weekend of March 2-3rd for this coming year’s conference, “Be“. Guest speaker Jessi Gibson will be featured here at Prize31 over the next couple months. Be sure to check in often to get to know this dynamic lady!
