Walking around these walls
I thought by now they’d fall
But You have never failed me yet
Waiting for change to come
Knowing the battle’s won
For You have never failed me yet

We’re 9 days into the New Year and I know we are all staring at walls in our lives. Is it a sin you can’t seem to overcome? Is it a relationship that seems to be getting worse? Is it a job that is weighing you down? Is it a parenting challenge that you feel like you’re failing at? What is your wall? What change are you longing for? Are you at the point that you should give up?

I speak to you my friend – GOD WILL DO IT AGAIN!!   There is hope! You may have felt like you’ve gone around the mountain 6 times. Don’t stop at 6! Like the children of Israel circling Jericho, God had given them a promise that he would deliver the enemy into their hands. They had done it for 6 days. Doubt. Despair. Distraction. Day 7!

Your promise still stands
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I’m still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You’ve never failed me yet

May this anthem be the hope of your prayers. May it be the reminder of the victories and faithfulnesss of God in your life. May it be the hope you can hang on to. This song resonates so much with me and as I was researching it for this blog post, I found a wealth of amazing background to this song! One of those videos can be found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Loc4zLZjezc

But one of the phrases that stuck out to me is that this song is for “giving prayers to people when they don’t know how to pray. It is giving them truth when they are having trouble believing.”

Play it friends! On repeat. In every style you can find it. Declare it to your wall.
And then celebrate the victories! God is faithful!!!
