The Armor of God – Ephesians 6:10-18

“Shiny glass with earthly eyes I see…..
What is this? False accusations, unclear reflections and misplaced self- identity!!
Who is this who mocks the name of The Lord?
Not today satan….. Not any day! My King reigns forever more!
I am His Fathers daughter and my Father Gods Son is my Savior, King and Lord! ”

I LOVE the spiritual armor of The Lord! It is most marvelous and powerful. One of the special pieces to this supernatural power suit is the lances of prayer and supplication. Prayer is crucial to our spiritual armor and weaponry. It is an absolute must to maintain our identity, stay close to our Lord, know our daily assignments and to maintain a victorious position.

“Sword out of sheath- Lances in my hand
The word of The Lord goes forth, prayerfully from the heart of man.
It can be full of love and ready to give wings, or
It can be a fatal blow, an intentional wounding or a slight pinch or sting!
I am Gods soldier on duty and command…..with full armor and few words,
I can send satan running and back to whence he came!
Come Caleb,,,Let’s run and take down Anak’s three sons! ( Joshua 15:14)
Giants are nothing when I pray and see with spiritual eyes,
Impossible is possible because I am a warrior in Jesus Christ’s army….
Under His authority and His plans! ”

Lances in the Roman army varied greatly in length. Lances could be thrown with great force and great distances to strike an enemy far away. Chosen by a soldier depending on how it was to be used, they came in many different shapes and sizes. When a believer prays, a lance can be hurled in the spiritual realm against the enemies schemes and plans. The enemy can literally be attacked from far away to halt obstacles from forming up close in our personal lives. There were all kinds of lances used in battle….Paul instructs us to use all kinds of prayer as needed. Prayers of Faith, Agreement, Intercession, Petition, Thanksgiving, Healing, Heavenly Language….to name a few.

“This is my true identity….I am not from here,
I am just passing through.
I am an ambassador in an earth suit from a heavenly kingdom.
My Lord Jesus has already fought the battle for earth…..
My Lord has already won! ”

How incredible to use our lances of all prayer and supplication to daily reinforce
Christ’s triumphant victory over satan and demonstrate satan’s miserable defeat- The Forever Loser!

****** Spiritual Armor and Lances in Place! Don’t Leave Home Without It!!!!

Have a Blessed Day! Tina G.
