Isaiah 43:18
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past
Do you remember the famous scene from the movie Cinderella where she is mopping a large expanse of flooring next to a winding staircase? She sings the most beautiful song “Sing Sweet Nightingale.” The sudsy bubbles from the mop bucket even join in, floating through the air defying gravity with each sweet note that she sings. Unfortunately, her stepmother and stepsisters were not the ideal family and did not come with a halo. Cinderella was taunted, ridiculed, and labeled. Later in the movie she becomes a princess and there is a happily ever after ending. In our day-by-day Earthly world, most of us are living proof of ridicule, lies, and labels. My own family was made-up of parents with their own shortcomings and I can honestly say I made some bad choices and decisions along the way. Last week I saw an interesting quote that got my attention. It was simple but spoke volumes. It read, ”In the book of Joshua she was called Rahab the prostitute – In Matthew she was Rahab, the Great Grand-Mother of Jesus.” God changes labels and rewrites stories. I am so glad He is in the gravity defying business. He picks us up right where we are and lifts us up to where we need to be. He calls us by name and moves us in the right direction. We were never meant to be tethered to the ground, trampled on by the enemy, and left hanging out to dry.

It’s time to try out the wings God gave you… Letting go of baggage and crushing Satan under your feet.

Seeing through the eyes of Jesus
Trying-out the giftings you were bestowed at Birth
Reaching incredible heights
Watching mountain peaks become
Distant and Small
While the Heavens become Bigger-More Bright
You were made to rise up… RUN DAUGHTER RUN!
Consecrated as children of the Most High
The True and Living God
Defying Gravity!
You were never meant to be grounded except in God’s Word, laws, and commands.
Mighty ways you will dismantle the enemy and satan’s agenda, as the forever loser has no choice…. But to let loose of his bindings-his rope and twining
That was tethering God’s people to the ground.
With Holy Spirit by our side
The church getting ready
For the greatest fall of our enemy and satan’s final hour, his crushing and final blow!
It’s nearing midnight
And the Bridegroom is getting ready to broadcast the greatest showing and display
As God’s children are gathered up, defying the earthly and natural realms.
Defying Gravity once again
Shouts of excitement as the shofar signals the sound.
Hearing our Savior’s voice
Hearing King Jesus call!
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
And yes… At the end of it all, when we finally reach our eternal home there will definitely be a fairytale ending!
