We were never created to just get by.
We were made for more — more than our past mistakes, more than our present struggles, and more than living in survival mode.
In Philippians 3:13–14, Paul writes,
“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Even from a prison cell, Paul reminded believers that God’s purpose is greater than their past. He didn’t ignore his mistakes—he surrendered them. That’s where freedom begins.
Maybe today, God is asking you to face what’s been holding you back—a wound, a habit, or unforgiveness. Healing starts when we bring it into the light. Isaiah 43:19 says,
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
To step into the “new,” we must release the “old.” That means letting go of lies, renewing our minds, and trusting that God can restore what feels broken.
You were not made to stay stuck. You were made to walk in freedom, peace, and purpose.
So today—press forward.
Not because you have it all figured out, but because Jesus has made you His own.
You were made for more.
