There’s something about the “in-between” that feels so hard. You’re not where you used to be,
but you’re not yet where you want to be. It feels unsettling—almost like standing in the hallway
waiting for the next door to open.
But transition seasons aren’t wasted. They’re actually where some of the deepest growth
happens. Just like nature doesn’t skip from winter to summer, God doesn’t rush us through
change. He uses these moments to prepare, refine, and realign us.
Transitions teach us patience when we want answers now. They teach us dependence when
we’d rather control the outcome. They remind us that our identity isn’t in a role, a title, or a
season—it’s secure in Him.
And yes, it’s uncomfortable. Questions rise up: Am I behind? Did I miss it? Why does it feel
unclear? But what if the tension you’re feeling is actually an invitation? An invitation to slow
down, lean into God, and let Him shape you before shifting you.
