Before time began, God was. Now, within time, God still is. In eternity, he will always be.

We were created by the uncreated one to enjoy and praise God for his infallible nature. We trust him and, because we trust him, we praise him in all things.

Even when we feel that the world is against us and day after day feels like the most difficult day of your life, remember that this world is broken from its original created purpose, as are we and everyone else. So, when you disagree with someone’s actions or words towards you, remember to extend the same loving grace which you have received from your good Father, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Experiencing God’s grace through the power of the Holy Spirit isn’t just for when we are at church worshipping in the sanctuary together. No, this is a daily power with which we live.

Thinking of power makes me consider strength and movement, normally physically, but from the Holy Spirit, it comes from within us and can be expressed emotionally and verbally as well. But power always expresses movement.

So then, if we are keeping in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5), how are you seeing the power of God work from within you in an outward expression?

“But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that I might fully preach the word and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.” – 2 Timothy 4:17

There is power and freedom in speaking the Truth!

When we are feeling trapped by our feelings, emotions, or maybe even a job, relationship, or friendship, be encouraged in knowing that God’s truth comes with power to release you.

Speak truth continually to yourself, because we are so quick to forget what is true when lies force their way into our minds and try to nest there.

By preaching to ourselves, our hearts and minds will begin to enjoy delighting in God and praising him in all things because he remains good no matter our circumstances.

What truth of the Word of God do you need to remind yourself of today?

Let’s praise him today with our words, not just in song, but in our minds and in the conversations we have with others that preach the Truth of Jesus Christ lovingly and graciously.
