Do you have friends is a loaded questions because I know we all have people around us that we say are our friends and yet way too many times our conversations stay at the surface level of life. We really don’t know each others values, hopes, or dreams. We probably don’t rely on each other through prayer for much. We probably don’t let them into our hearts or lives in order to see the things we fear, love, or how we have been hurt. Many times we only allow the pretend side of ourselves or the polished up side of our existence to show up.
That’s the kind of friend I am asking you if you have? The kind of friend who knows you and loves you anyway. We all need friends or a friend like that. I feel that sometimes we think it is impossible to want that because it’s not possible. WRONG.
God will supply all our needs if we ask him – have you asked him for that kind of friend lately?
I said all of that to say that there is a place where you can begin meeting friends – it’s in one of the women’s life groups. Our new semester just launched last week with an intentional “lets get to know each other” mind set. The truth of us needing friends was real that evening. We aren’t meant to do life by ourselves. It’s okay to say, “I have no friends and I WANT SOME.”
So, consider this an invite to come and experience community, grow spiritually and emotionally, and have fun all at the same time. You have to believe that God is planning things on your behalf and He is waiting for you to respond.
The following women’s groups are being offered at 7 pm on Wednesday nights – please keep reading and ask
God which one is right for you.
I pray as you read the detailed info you will be nudged in your heart as to your next right step
in honoring the values of the real YOU.
20/20 Seen. Chosen. Sent.
In this Christine Caine study, we will all sense the urgency of our personal, God-given, mission. We will be challenged to move past what’s comfortable in this moment of our lives.
We will be encouraged to tell our personal stories of how God saw us, chose us, and sent us on a grand faith-adventure to go into all the world and make disciples.
Friend, we hope you come filled with expectation that it is never too late for your destiny. 2020 here you come!
(I hope when you read those words something stirred in your heart…especially when you read the words: Your destiny—which can be personalized to —MY destiny. We all know deep down that there is something more to our current existence on this earth.)
