Today, I want to ask you two profound questions. Hold on to your seat because they are mightily profound.
Do you feel called to make a difference in our world?
Well, if you knew that or not, YOU ARE.
Ready for the second question?
Do you feel prompted to show forth God’s glory in your everyday life?
If you answered noooooo, I get it.
I didn’t come to know this truth until I was 23 years of age.
And the news was as shocking to me then as much as it is today. The God of the universe wants to use me. You? Us? What a humbling thought, right?
Down to the last cell we are designed with the ability to show forth His love and grace as we receive it from Him. I know it sounds a bit intimidating, overwhelming, and/or plain awesome! Which camp are you in today?
No matter where you find yourself, I want you to lean into the conversation as we all learn more about telling others about God and living intentionally wanting to showcase His glory through our thoughts, attitudes, and actions.
Think about it, reaching people with the gospel was not our idea. It’s not something we came up with and are now asking God to help us accomplish.
No, it’s the opposite.
It was the heavenly Father who “so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
He came first to tell us about His love…He moved out of His comfort zone to make sure we knew there was a better way.
It was Jesus who willingly “came to seek and to save the lost” and then told us to go into our world to do the same.
Join the conversation next week as we continue to unpack what this looks like for you and your God.
