The title is so fitting to being a mother of toddlers, am I right? Some days I feel like the meltdowns will never stop. Some days I lose my mind over and over. Some days I feel like I’m failing and I’ll never get it right. I’m sure every single mom can relate. But momma as I remind myself daily I’m here to remind you too. The meltdowns will stop when they’re grown and on their own. You will lose your mind to bigger things like when they are off to college or getting married. And luckily there is no handbook on motherhood. We aren’t going to do it perfect & we are going to make mistakes but our littles don’t see a failing momma they just see unconditional love from someone they can never live without.
We have one of the hardest jobs in the world. Actually…in a survey they concluded motherhood to be equivalent to 2 and a half FULL time jobs. So wether you are a working momma or a stay at home momma, give yourself some slack and a big pat on the back.
“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
We as mothers should forgive ourselves as our children easily forgive us. And as Christ forgives us too.
Be blessed mommas,
