Today, we are going to talk about our world view and where it comes from, but first I have a question for you.
You weigh in, do you really think someone else deserved to be there when God created humanity – as to give him advice?
I hope you said no.
Right answer.
Well, I don’t think Pastor Mike Todd knew what he was doing that day when he spoke those words, and I believe God would have some words for him today and they might sound something like this:
Why are you causing confusion within the souls of mankind?
Son, you have made it seem as if I didn’t know what I was doing?
I recognize man wants to sin and that’s why I placed eternity in all of their hearts and created a plan for them to follow.
Do you feel He created mankind to only disappoint them?”
I hope Mike Todd has people around him speaking TRUTH so he can repent.
If not, I believe it is safe to say we may have seen a modern day moment in our history where a leader was weighed in the balance, and God may take something from him as he did to another leader in biblical history.
We know God did not create us to make our lives miserable. He created a plan that works if we choose to deny ourselves from sinful longings. We are not just biological beings.
We have been made in the image and the likeness of God according to Colossians 1:16.
“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. . . (Col 1:16)
We – humanity – at large are the crowning glory of God’s creation and he made them male and female. The two sexes define His glory in ways we don’t understand.
The scripture we all just heard is the foundation of a Biblical worldview. It’s the one God chose for us to embrace…and of course it is the opposite of what this culture is teaching today.
We all have to come to terms with these three questions:
Who is God?
Who am I?
What is Truth?
Join us next week as we continue to discuss how our worldviews are formed – and bow your head today with believers all across the world as we PRAY for God to revive our hearts and forgive our sins as a people created in His image.
