Before I was saved, I used to think so but how can passing a red light and getting away with it and hurting children be the same?
Those are two different type of law breakers.Proverbs 6:16 says this:
“There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.”

Do you know what the word abomination even means?
I remember asking my older sister what that word meant when I became a new Christian.
I don’t remember hearing any of the boys throwing around that word on the school bus.
But here it was in the middle of my Bible.
It means: Anything greatly disliked or abhorred – detestable.

of us and those around us.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
Some of the things I could easily dismiss or justify are important to God.
Friends, there are things the Lord hates…and we should know those things—
and we shouldn’t dance around those matters in this loose society we find ourselves living in.
I will also add: Hurting children will always be one of those things that God hates.
put ourselves first. Lies and half-truths are sinful.
very selfish fallen world.
